I was not always bold. I needed help me to move in desired direction. I have big dreams, but no motivation to move. Then I read blog post titled You are not lazy. You have too good life. This hit hard!
On University I was doing all kinds of thing and having time for everything. When I got job, I was still busy-bee. After my contract has ended, I was in my bed, eating sugary food and watching TV. My tell-tale signs were sentences are “I don’t have time for writing blog post. I don’t want to…I don’t have time…”
Surfing on Facebook, I found this blog post and it resonated with me. Author mentions two important things:
- I need to create my own goals
- I need to be source of my motivation
If my life is too easy, go and make it harder. For example, she decided to wake up in 5 a.m. Its too hard.
One sentence she uses when it’s hard it’s:
Toughen The F*#! Up Buttercup
Mine is sometimes:“Shut up and do it.” or “Clench.”
