Everyone around me hates Monday. They have to go to work, they are all stressed out about upcoming week etc. Are you one of those people? I love Mondays and sense of new beginnings. I really do. (I hate Tuesdays)
First problem is: you have to go to work. No, you don‘t, but your boss will fire you if you don‘show up. Maybe you can change have to, to I choose to. Give yourself good reasons why to go on a job.
Second: have a realistic view of what all you can achieve in x amount of hours. My to do list is simple, early I do all the things I have to do, late I answer mail, calls.
I circle hours when I am writing, when I am free. My version of calendar blocking. Pomodoro technique is also useful.
Third: have a piece of paper near you, so every time you have an idea, reminder, or some random thought, you can write it down (like call dentist)
Create your routine.
I have my Sunday routine. After lunch, when it‘s sunny I walk near the river with my handy dandy notebook. On the walk, I get ideas which I write. When I coma home, I look up this notebook and ideas, so I can plan them accordingly.
I know some people analyze week ahead and week that passed by, I am not one of them.
What do you have to add on this list?
